A special quality assurance program (QSP) is required for the production of plastic recyclate if this recyclate is to be used for the production of hazardous goods packaging. This QSP includes the collection, sorting and cleaning of used plastics as well as the production and quality control of the recyclate produced.

 

Together with a packaging manufacturer, the user and the recyclate manufacturer, I created and certified such a specific QSP. The recyclate produced is already being used to produce type 4H2 hazardous goods packaging.
